Rexel annuncia la nomina di Xavier Galliot all'incarico di direttore per lo sviluppo sostenibile del Gruppo. Galliot riferirà a Pascale Giet, Vice Presidente Senior, Comunicazione e sviluppo sostenibile.

Grazie alla solida esperienza internazionale acquisita nell'ambito delle consulenze e nel settore industriale, Xavier Galliot apporterà importanti competenze strategiche e operative in materia di sostenibilità, contribuendo a rafforzare e accelerare l'impegno del Gruppo Rexel a favore dello sviluppo sostenibile.
Biography
Xavier Galliot started his career with Ernst & Young as consultant in strategy and then worked in Japan on strategic partnership projects in the biotechnology sector. In 2002, he joined Rio Tinto Alcan where he held sales & marketing positions on international markets for aluminium products. Since late 2007, he was Sustainability Strategy Manager for Alcan International Network, a business unit of the group.
Xavier Galliot, 37, holds a Masters degree in Economics & Finance. He is a graduate of Bordeaux Business School and is a Stanford University executive program alumni.
Rexel, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies, serves three main end markets: industrial, commercial and residential. The Group operates in 34 countries, with a network of some 2,200 branches, and employs 28,000 people. Rexel's sales were E11.3 billion in 2009. Its majority shareholders are an investor group led by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Eurazeo and BAML Capital Partners.
Rexel is listed on the Eurolist market of Euronext Paris (compartment A, ticker RXL, ISIN code FR0010451203). It is integrated in the following indices: NEXT 150, SBF 120, and CAC Mid 100.
