Biotalys (Euronext - BTLS), an Agricultural Technology (AgTech) company developing protein-based biocontrol solutions for crop and food protection, today announces its key business achievements and consolidated financial results for the first half of 2023, prepared in accordance with International Accounting Standard 34 'Interim Financial Reporting' as adopted by the European Union. We are continuing to work with the EPA to obtain regulatory approval in the U.S. for Evoca, the company's first biocontrol solution, to help address the needs of growers seeking safer tools to make their crop protection strategies more sustainable. At the same time, we are working with partners on the future market positioning of Evoca, as well as on continuing to improve cost of goods for this important first product.”

Auditor s tatement

The condensed consolidated financial statements for the six-months' period ended 30 June 2023 have been prepared in accordance with IAS 34 'Interim Financial Reporting' as adopted by the European Union. They do not include all the information required for the full annual financial statements and should therefore be read in conjunction with the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022. The condensed consolidated financial statements are presented in thousands of Euros (unless stated otherwise). The condensed consolidated financial statements have been approved for issue by the Board of Directors. The statutory auditor, Deloitte Bedrijfsrevisoren/Reviseurs d'Entreprises, represented by Pieter-Jan Van Durme, has performed a limited review of the interim financial report.
